What is Making Equals?

The Sporting Equals Making Equals project is an opportunity for young people between 16 – 25 from the Croydon Borough to be involved in a unique programme of personal development through sport.

 

We are looking for young people who want to play a role in making a positive social impact in Croydon and wanting to develop their own interpersonal skills. The like of Surrey County Cricket Club, Crystal Palace FC and Harlequins involved in the project.

 

What Does It Involve?

Making Equals is a FREE programme that will offer a better understanding of Croydon as well as educate participants on leadership and team working through sport. Interactive workshops on themes such as team working, leadership, perceptions and social impact alongside sporting activities will help participants to develop confidence, communication and decision making skills.

 

What Do You Get Out of It?

• Opportunity to gain accreditation and qualification in coaching

• Meet and learn from elite sport stars about mental strength discipline, nutrition and success through team work

• Win tickets to major sporting events

• Award ceremony
